How It Works
Brilliant Jobs discovers job opportunities through your professional network. It scans your connections, finds where they work, and helps you find open positions at those companies.
Step-by-Step
1
Harvest — Collects your connections list. Click "Harvest Connections" while on the networking site. Takes a few minutes for large networks.

Scan — Visits each connection's profile to extract their work history. Runs automatically at a safe pace (40-90 profiles/day) with built-in breaks.

Jobs — Navigate to a job search page and click "Scrape All Pages" to collect listings. Works on search results pages.
4
Data — Export your connections and discovered companies as TSV files for analysis.
Tips
Scanner pacing: The scanner deliberately runs slowly with randomized delays and daily limits to stay under the radar. Don't worry if it takes several days — this is by design.
Re-harvesting: You can run Harvest again anytime to pick up new connections. It won't overwrite data from profiles that have already been scanned.
Keep a tab open: The scanner needs a browser tab available to visit profiles. It will create one if needed, but keeping one open helps.
