Install Your Extension
Head to Setup and download your personalized Chrome extension. It's unique to your account — your own stealth scanner that harvests your LinkedIn network connections and maps them to companies hiring right now. The extension runs in the background while you browse, visiting profiles during business hours at human-like intervals.

Build Your Filters
Go to Jobs Feed and open the filter builder. Think of it like building a search radar:
What
Job titles and keywords. "director of marketing", "growth", "SEO"
Not
Exclude noise. "intern", "assistant", "part-time"
Where
Locations and work styles. "United States", "remote", "Seattle"
Who
Target or exclude companies. "Stripe", "Google"
Pro tip: Type or before a term to OR it with the previous pill. "director" then "or VP" matches either. Save each search as a named filter — they run in parallel.

Tune Your Results
Getting noise? Head to Tuning to set global rules that apply across all your filters:
Location lock — restrict everything to US-only with one checkbox
Global exclusions — block titles, companies, or locations forever
Level matching — check "Director" and "VP" to soft-match both seniority levels
Poor match analysis — hidden jobs get analyzed for patterns to suggest exclusions

Work Your Feed Daily
Each row in your feed has three actions:
Save
Bookmark for later — appears in Pipeline
Apply →
Opens the ATS page and tracks it as Applied
Hide irrelevant jobs — helps tune future results
Colored number badges next to titles show which saved filter matched that job. Use multi-sort (Shift+Click column headers) to prioritize by Days, Company, or Title.

Track Everything in Pipeline
Saved jobs land in the Pipeline Saved column. When you apply, they move to Applied. From there, track Responded → Interview → Offer or Rejected/Ghosted. The stat cards at the top show your response rate and average days to response — the numbers that actually matter.

Unzip the download
Extract the file to a permanent folder on your computer. Don't delete this folder — Chrome needs it.

Open Chrome Extensions
Navigate to chrome://extensions and enable Developer mode using the toggle in the top right.

Load the extension
Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped folder. The extension will appear in your toolbar.

Pin and open
Click the puzzle piece icon in Chrome's toolbar and pin the extension for easy access. Then open it to get started.
Google Drive
Store and sync resumes from Google Docs or Drive files

Linked docs stay in sync — edit in Drive, and Brilliant Jobs always has the latest version when applying.
Gmail — Ghost Monitor
Track which companies respond and which ghost you after applying
When connected, Ghost Monitor will automatically detect confirmation emails, rejection notices, and interview scheduling — giving you real-time visibility into your application status without manual tracking.
